I went and saw The Lego Movie with a 14 year old friend of mine… who was most definitely not interested in staying to watch the credits. Luckily Art of the Title is here to save the day! As always they provide a great write-up with beautiful and extensive visuals.

I found it very interesting that the movie itself was all CGI but they decided to created the credits with stop motion of real bricks. I think the fact that there wasn’t a noticeable difference on screen really speaks to the hard work of both the team who did the credits at Alma Mater and the animators of the movie at Animal Logic.

Such interesting stuff.
